Celeena Memon |PRESIDENT
Biomedical Engineering, '22, Junior
Celeena is a junior majoring in Biomedical Engineering and minoring in Spanish. She is the President of the Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers. Celeena decided to join SASE after a friend recommended it to her, as well as after switching into the engineering department at UM. Celeena like the community SASE has, as well as all the opportunities SASE provides to help further her future. She also likes dancing and is a part of UJhoom and LOCKED Dance Teams.
Joon Jung | VICE PRESIDENT
Biomedical Engineering, '21, Senior

Joon is a junior majoring in Biomedical Engineering and the Vice President of the Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers. Originally, Joon joined SASE because he played at the badminton club with the former SASE President Naveen and found interests in the club during conversations since Naveen was also majoring in Biomedical Engineering and spoke some Korean. He also likes SASE for its diversity with various people from different majors and ethnicities. Joon is also from Korea.
Christopher Wu | TREASURER
Computer Science, '23, Sophomore
Christopher is a sophomore majoring in Computer Science and the Treasurer of the Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers. When Chris first decided to join SASE during his freshman year, it was because he heard that SASE offers a tremendous level of networking and opportunities targeted towards my field as well as others. Chris loves that SASE holds annual conferences to get a head start for his career.
